Course Description

Gain the knowledge and experience needed to excel the advanced UAV operation examinations and obtain a basic UAV operations license. In addition to the ten knowledge-based sections covered in basic certification, you will get your hands on the system to plan and execute example missions. You will also receive training on specific applications of UAVs across a variety of industries such as, oil and gas surveying, agricultural monitoring, building maintenance inspections and others.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

Gain pragmatic and theoretical knowledge in operating UAV
Excel the advance UAV operation examinations and obtain a basic UAV operation licence ​
Apply UAV technology in a variety of industries such as oil & gas, surveying

Assessment

Students will be evaluated through attendance and final project assignment. Participants with 100% attendance and a minimum score of 80% on the final project assignment will be issued the course certificate

Credential

Students will be issued the course certificate and a basic UAV operations licence if pass UAV operation examinations

Expect learning material cost of roughly $200 for textbooks
